The intricate & Personalized details
620 Loft & Garden was the perfect backdrop for this romantic fall rooftop wedding in NYC. This day was curated by planner and designer, Britt Jones, with wedding photos by Stephanie Michelle Photography.
The jumping off point for designing this day started with the regality of St. Patrick’s Cathedral which was crafted in the 1800’s and inspired by European architecture. The goal was to blend modern day New York City with an old world architectural style, but also bring in some nods to the season.
Rather than choosing blatant fall colors like red, orange, and yellow, this couple went for a more intentional approach bringing in plum, mauves, and soft pinks.
A focal point of the celebration was an impressive 8-foot floral arch, a masterpiece of nature’s beauty by Nava Floral. The floral cascade added a touch of whimsy to the urban landscape, creating an enchanting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the grandeur of the rooftop wedding venue and views of the cathedral.
The bride's ceremony and reception gowns worn were Viktor and Rolf. The ceremony gown had a sleek satin look to it, but it had the most wow-factor moment with the train and bow back.
The reception gown was a tiered tulle dress that had the most beautiful high neckline. This dress was so beautifully crafted and it actually reminded the vendor team of a chandelier. As a personal touch for the couple, Gates Paper Co. added hand drawn chandeliers on their invites to tie the whole look together.
